Big moves in the State of Illinois! Delta-8 regulation is on the table, and Governor JB Pritzker backing it with gusto. On the surface, it’s all about safety and consumer protection. But let’s call it what it is—a perfectly legal masterclass in “helping” the industry by making sure the little guy doesn’t play in the BigCanna sandbox.

I mean, what better way to support small businesses than to pave a shiny road for the corporations while sending entrepreneurs a “friendly” reminder: “If you’re not paying lobbyist rates, you’re not playing the game.”

Safety matters, sure. But it’s funny how quickly the hammer comes down when hemp entrepreneurs start nibbling at the market share. Regulatory oversight? Or just another way to make sure David never gets a slingshot near Goliath?

And hey, when you’re this busy regulating Delta-8, who has time to look into fraud, tax fraud, or corruption—even when reports are sitting right there? No worries, though. After next week, my endgame changes… Personal liability and bracelets seem like a better ending, don’t you think?
