Apparently, a $1.3 billion tax bill is just too much for businesses to handle, and the state’s genius plan to hike the tax rate from 15% to 19% in July 2025 is bound to be the final nail in the coffin. Who knew overregulation and heavy taxation wouldn’t create a perfect business environment? Shocker!

Is it really a wonder that the illegal market is doing just fine, offering better prices without the “privilege” of paying sky-high taxes? The collaboration between the government and corporations is just a match made in heaven—if by heaven, you mean a well-oiled machine of corruption and fraud, squeezing every last drop from entrepreneurs while ensuring only the big players can survive.
