patterns

I like my patterns. I like my routines. Everything I do is pre-planned way in advance, down to the smallest details. And then life does what it does, shakes it all up.

Yesterday, Bella started bleeding nonstop, landing us in the emergency vet. My place, the vet, my stairs, and hallway looked like someone pissed me off. Now after some work at the vet, she’s on rest and medication for the next week or two while I hope this resolves without needing anything more serious. So, if I’m a little more aggressive or pointed in my tone… well, that’s what happens when I can’t burn it off with my 5 miles in the morning and my girl isn’t feeling well. Apologies in advance if you end up in my digging, but let’s be honest that’s your own ethical decisions.

But for an 11-year-old dog, they told me she’s unbelievably healthy, all her levels are perfect. Turns out, all the exercise and her special diet since her tumor removal have really paid off. You’d never guess she’s 11. That said, I think she’s more upset about missing our miles than I am because she has no clue why we can’t keep going.

So, while she heals, I’ll be adjusting. Finding new patterns. Doing more digging and research in the mornings to fill the gap. And of course, ranting and raving about it all on F'nAround. The regulatory episode with some of my personal experiences so far in Illinois is live now(https://lnkd.in/gE8PchFQ), and we’ve got some big announcements coming soon, so stay tuned.

Life throws the punches, but we keep moving. Even if, for now, it’s just in a different way. I think everyone knows by now I always punch back!
All episodes of both of our shows can be found on FnAround.com or any streaming platform.
