beauty in chaos

Finding Beauty Amid the Chaos…
Look, we all know the world’s a mess right now—corruption and fraud everywhere, companies poisoning people, and vigilantes trying to send messages that systems need to change. It’s exhausting, and honestly, it hurts everyone.

But hey, it’s the holidays, and sometimes you just need to hit the pause button. These past few months, during my runs, I’ve been lucky enough to catch some things in nature that made me stop and think, “Okay, not everything is terrible.” It’s a nice reminder that even when the world feels like it’s burning, there’s still a little beauty out there.

Case in point: I saw a moon halo (didn’t even know what it was until I Googled it like a caveman) today and the most stunning purple sunrise and sunset. Nature really has a way of smacking you in the face and saying, “Chill out for a second.”

So, while I’m all for shining a light on the chaos and corruption (because, let’s be honest, some people need that spotlight), I figured it’s also the season to share something…nicer. Here’s a little slice of peace amid the chaos—a reminder to take a second, breathe, and find your balance (or at least try not to throw your phone at the wall).

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and here’s to finding beauty wherever you can.
