42k people screwed
Ever wondered what it looks like when your government tells 42,000 people to go screw themselves?
Meet HB2827, the bill that proves Illinois politics isn’t broken… it’s operating exactly as intended.
Want the stats?
42,356 people opposed it.
1,074 supported it (likely bots, staffers, or people who checked the wrong box, I hope).
And yet here we are, this bill is flying through the legislature like truth was never part of the process.
What’s in the bill?
A steaming pile of overreach dressed up as policy. Language so vague it makes horoscopes look specific. Provisions so tone-deaf you’d think ChatGPT wrote it drunk. It tries to touch schools, procedures, and “safety” in ways that somehow manage to create more problems than solutions, all while ignoring the people it claims to protect.
Meanwhile, the real voices, parents, teachers, social workers, and actual constituents… were shouting NO.
Not whispering. Not tweeting.
Filing official witness slips. Over 42,000 of them.
And the Illinois legislature’s response?
“Cool story bro. Anyway…”
Then they stacked on sponsors like it was an MLM pitch.
From Terra Costa Howard to Michelle Mussman and a parade of co-signers desperate to show they “did something” this session, even if that something is directly ignoring 98% of public input.
Because in Illinois, the game is never about good policy.
It’s about who’s paying, who’s protecting who, and what favors are being traded behind closed doors.
You think it’s about people? Nah.
It’s about preservation, of power, money, and silence.
If you want to see it for yourself, look at the slip list. Page after page of “Self, Opposed.”
People who actually live here. Raise kids here. Pay taxes here.
And got steamrolled.

And stay tuned, because if you think this is the only example of Illinois turning its back on its people, wait until you hear the next chapter in my cannabis case. Should tune in and listen: F'nAround against F’ingDiddlers
https://lnkd.in/g782cq35 The next episode we are releasing is about my life being threatened while I was recording… I told you, I believe in transparency!
The fraud?
Runs deep.
The state?
Fully aware.
And us?
We’re not F'nAround.
Come find out!
