Last night, Michael, Brittini, and I showed off our City of Chicago spirit at the Chicago Blackhawks game. Sure, the 6-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets stung, but the energy at the United Center was electric. Fun fact: it was my first time in the BMO Club without a drink—turns out, the game looks the same sober (who knew?).

In regards to my ever-so-silent partners at nuEra Cannabis, the complaint is closed, and the clock is ticking. Their answer is due by December 16, 2024, and discovery has been missing longer than a regulatory agency’s lunch break. The judge dismissing their motions with prejudice doesn’t exactly scream “compliance,” does it? But what do I know? I’m no tax expert—just someone who might have seen a K-1 before suing them, if everything had been above board.
The personal liability here? Oh, it’s spreading far and wide—politicians, regulatory groups, accountants, law firms, shareholders, and anyone else who thought looking the other way was easier than doing the right thing. Spoiler: willful ignorance isn’t a defense. With F'nAround platforms growing every day, rest assured I’ll keep the updates coming, because this goes beyond just nuEra.
