hiding

What are they hiding?

nuEra Cannabis has now failed to produce discovery since July. That’s five months of silence, non-compliance, and excuses. Why? In my opinion, it’s because the one thing they can’t afford to produce is the truth.

Let me spell it out: tax fraud.
If tax fraud has occurred, it isn’t just a serious issue—it’s a license revocation offense.
A cannabis company operating without transparency is a threat to the entire industry, and regulators have a duty to act.

Here’s the kicker: They probably can’t produce taxes because, in my opinion, doing so would confirm serious issues. If they could produce compliant records, wouldn’t the original allegations have been dismissed outright—not just motions dismissed with prejudice? This doesn’t look like simple incompetence; it suggests a far deeper problem.

And now, their continued inability to produce discovery feels like yet another attempt to stall, sandbag, and hide.

I’ve already tagged regulators, officials, and enforcement agencies. This can’t be ignored anymore. The integrity of the cannabis industry is at stake, and the rules apply to everyone. Or are we letting potential fraud slide now?

The industry deserves better. The people deserve better. Transparency isn’t optional—it’s required.

Oh, and about your little fishing expedition—sending your third notice to produce and second set of interrogatories while refusing to turn in your own discovery? That doesn’t look like strategy; it looks like panic. You don’t get to flip the script when the facts aren’t on your side. Under the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure, discovery is a two-way street—how can they demand what they refuse to provide?

To every regulator and official reading this:
The cannabis industry is watching.
The public is watching.
What’s the point of rules if they aren’t enforced?
Who ensures accountability for those who refuse transparency?

Is this allowed for all cannabis companies Kwame Raoul? Dana Nessel?

And for everyone else, tune into the F'nAround Podcast and my new morning show to hear the full story. We’re not just exposing this—we’re tearing down the systems that let it happen. This week we are hearing from Cannabis Equity IL Coalition!

Anyone see where this is going yet?
