It’s funny how, in business, we’re constantly faced with critical decisions, yet the degree on the wall doesn’t always mean better choices. All day, I fielded calls about some Harvard grads making decisions that even my uneducated friends know to avoid. You reach a fork in the road, and instead of taking the logical path, they all doubled down on the worst possible option. Now people they hurt reach out to me to help them.
It just goes to show that education isn’t a predictor of common sense or smart judgment. In the end, it’s not the school that defines you—it’s your ability to make the right call when it counts. The ability to navigate the gray areas, handle pressure, and take accountability for decisions matters far more than the institution you came from.
Degrees are nice, but sound decision-making wins every time. As Joey Diaz said “You only need three motherf*ckers to take over a country” speaking of three our first podcast for F’nAround launches next weekend and we’ll be discussing how Harvard University and Harvard Business School educated individuals created a cannabis brand about the Underground Railroad to get money from minorities…. That won the vote. Can’t wait to share the story, we’ll be dropping quotes all week about it. Craft cares, corporate doesn’t, boycott nuEra Cannabis.
