discount chocolate day

Happy Discount Chocolate Day! That magical time between Valentine’s Day and Easter when shelves are lined with half-price sweets, and we all pretend we didn’t buy an extra bag “for later.”

But while some people are out there hunting for heart-shaped Reese’s, I’m indulging in something different… not just bill research, analytics, and digging into laws and regulations.

It’s been fascinating watching Doge, Elon, and President Trump tear through government fraud and waste at record speed, the DOJ cracking down on cities and states blocking federal regulations, and the country screaming for transparency. But what really gets me?

My analytics.

I can post about fraud, racism, and systemic statewide coverups, and boom, I get a couple hundred views (as of late…). Then, suddenly, my profile analytics “glitch” (see attached), and my reach drops under 100 like I tripped a silent alarm. But if I post a Captain America popcorn shield? Over 200,000 views.

So yeah, no wonder transparency and oversight are more necessary than ever. Too many people let “business as usual” slide because they’re too busy watching memes instead of misconduct.

That said, speaking the truth doesn’t always get the biggest numbers but sometimes, the right people pay attention.

For example, last night, while I was peacefully asleep, people from Canada, Virginia, Austin, Kyiv, Berlin, Brandenburg, and Ingolstadt, along with Salt Lake City and Saratoga Springs in Utah, took an interest in my work. I also picked up traffic from San Jose, Los Angeles, and Sacramento; Tehran and Fars in Iran; multiple places in Missouri; Dallas; Vinnytsia in Ukraine; and even multiple spots all over Illinois, including a certain private club where political titans like Michael Madigan and Ed Burke allegedly used to hold court.

Quite the eclectic little fan club. To what do I owe the pleasure?

So if you ever wonder whether people are paying attention, the answer is yes, you just might not realize who’s watching.

Appreciate industry professionals like Jacob (Society House, Verne Bio, & Society Group) for helping to share Juan’s experience, helping shed light on how an Illinois cannabis company and family office used him for his “checkboxes” while revealing deeper systemic issues in the industry.

Also, I’m adding all of Nathan Johnson, PhD’s (Verne Bio) podcast interviews to my listening list, I’ll circle back when I’m done with my research and well-informed. But since it’s Valentine’s Day weekend, I’m prepping for my trip next week, and I have more important plans. This will have to wait along with some additional bill analysis while I’m out of town discussing government corruption with those pushing for accountability and change.

You are being ruled by criminals.”

Stay safe. Stay aware. And for those still F'nAround… I see you
