Last night was our first time stepping out from behind the keyboards and mics, and it was entertaining. For those thinking we’re just “keyboard warriors”—surprise! We’re live, in-your-face, and swinging harder than a baseball bat to the nose.

We were ready for some real talk with a few folks making big decisions, but maybe the event wasn’t worth their time. Kind of like the food awards or ranking lists—everyone knows what’s up, thanks to sponsorships, funding, PR teams, and a sprinkle of good marketing magic. What do I know? I just remember how much we would have had to pay over a decade ago to get ranked on those lists. But hey, cannabis is definitely more ethical than the food and beverage industry, right?

Big shoutout to our behind-the-scenes teams and risk crew for prepping us, dressing us, and drilling us for any questions that might arise! And a special thanks to James, whose wise words before we hit the event were: “Whatever you do, don’t knock anyone out if they say something you don’t like this time.” Good advice, James, but hey, that was a one time promise.

And let’s be clear—we’re not here to kiss rings or slow down. But if you want, you can kiss mine, because it fits again.

Remember this isn’t a one-off—we’re getting comfier, always mic’d up, and ready for the next event!
